I have a cousin that grew up and lived in the city all his life. He came to the family reunion for the first time in the country. At night when the crickets and frogs started making sound he asked, "What's that?" I asked him, "What's what?" He said, "That noise." I then realized that he had never heard these night sounds ever.

I grew up on this small tropical island and I always found comfort listening to the bugs at night. Now that I live in the city I miss those sounds, but I always get to visit my grandma out in the countryside so it's not so bad.

Ive been falling seep to a bunch of different sounds with my blu tooth seeker ... ASMR, thunder storms, rain hitting just about all known surfaces.. but this one BY FAR is my favorite one. Can we take a moment to just appreciate the smallest details? With the wind moving the leaves and branches just so and the waves not only having motion, but realistic motion that you have to really look to see, the stars just sparkling.
