We call these sleep sounds or sounds for sleep because when you listen to them the stress from the day begins to melt away, your mind begins to feel more calm and you quickly begin to feel sleepy and ready for deep satisfying sleep. This is BRILLIANT thank you. I used to live in Missouri near a railroad and train yard. I find it hard to sleep missing these sounds. We used to have 1 mile long trains leaving Springfield and the other end probably arriving in the next town before they left us! Love the rain Love the train! Period!!! thanks.

Just thinking about these recordings makes me sleepy,....I sometimes layer this with harbor sounds and fog horns,....I once lived near a large industrial port. Late at night trains rolled on, as tugs guided ore boats, and coal barges towards the factories along Lake Erie. On another recording the rain bounces off metal roofs and produces another rhythm. The recordings are so good I can feel the air cooling, & the air freshening.

Love this!! My Mom brother and I used to go visit my Aunt & Uncle a few hours away. They lived fairly near a main train crossing. My uncle would run us down to the crossing as soon as we heard it off in the distance. They were both so kind and sweet. The wonderful soothing memories this brings!
