@@hmelonify bed time stories was my favourite part of the day, I’m so sorry you missed out on that experience as a child, it’s wonderful your inner child can experience it now, I love audio books still because I love a story read to me and to be honest, yes it’s special from a parent it’s also special from a stranger, I got stories read because my mum enjoyed it, not everyone experiences it with parents, the truth is, it’s only special with a good storyteller, so this kind of thing give me the same feeling as bedtime stories as a kid 😊

Absolutely love your story’s. Just have to say one thing about this one, I don’t know where you got the story about Medusa from but that’s not how her story goes. Some pointers 1) She was the only human looking between her and her 2 sister (they where all gorgons) that’s why she was able to move around other humans and why we know of her. 2) She was never vain or thought of her self as more beautiful then Athena, and she was super loyal to the Goddess. 3) She denied Poseidon’s advances until he had enough and forced himself upon Medusa on the floor of Athena’s Tempel, and she asked Athena for help which she got. Athena transformed Medusa into a snake human who turns anyone who look at her to stone, Athena did this to protect Medusa from any more unwanted advances so she could finally live in peace.

I believe that true beauty comes from within. These stories support that with romanticism way before the romantic period. I am amazed that the Greek literature captures my feelings, especially for my wife who passed away a year ago, with such accuracy. What have we learned in the last 2600 years, except that we have the same feelings. These are great stories/myth or whatever due to time. Thank you so much for these readings. They help us all relate to the most important parts of life; love that comes from within and caring. This helps us understand the meaning of love that has been written thousands of years ago.

Original ending might be too much for a sleep story :) This is one of the rare stories where we deliberately changed the ending. In some other stories we deliberately missed to mention some extremely triggering facts, but kept the original story overall. All in all, we try to adapt all these myths to be soothing enough for sleep stories, yet to keep the original story as much as possible.

Eurydice followed him from Hades to the upper world.. Orpheus looks back as soon as he got to the upper world to see if Eurydice was still there. Forgetting he had to wait until she had reached the upper world too. As she had not quite reached the last few steps, she disappeared forever. It is a tragedy, this video has rewritten for nicer dreams while we sleep... but never forget the lessons of the old myths in their true forms.

I like how you made Orpheus and Eurydice have a happy ending! 🥰 It actually helped me quite a lot to come across this story now as it really reflects my personal situation and the message here is clear: Even though I can't see my soulmate (yet), I need to keep walking my path, never looking back to past hurts and trust that we eventually be together. 🙏💜 ...and to top these synchronicities off, as of writing this, this video has 444 comments 😋

This is utterly enchanting and hypnotic! So soothing as one wafts on the softness of the voice and words! I just loved every moment! Thank you very much indeed! It simply lulls one to sleep, yet one wants to listen to every moment and take in the story. I am so glad I discovered your channel, having had insomnia for many years. I was riveted to the tales, enjoying them thoroughly. Many good wishes to you!

Nothing in this world so easily and beautifuly explains every dynamic, every phenomenon, every question, and every single nuance of our lives here on planet Earth, - like the mythologies of ancient Greece. If you too find that you love these love stories as much as I do, a wonderful treatment is in a book, one that probably your greatest grandparents read. I bought mine from Barnes and Noble; The title is simply 'Greek Myth- ology' - by Edith Hamilton. These beautiful stories were written to explain - basically, - why things both in life and the world happen - the ways in which they happen, - and why, why do things happen the way that they do. THAT is exactly what these stories are meant to explain ! It was love, - or an affair between either the gods themselves, or between a demigod and a god (the demigods are my favorite, they're the sons and daughters of unions between the gods and ordinary people), or it was all about the consequences of such an affair. Love affairs can get you into a lot of trouble - well, it happens the same way with the gods. But usually - the 'consequences' that was memtioned turn out to be just beautiful;

I picked the second option because I really like the content you already create and a complete departure (worst case) from that wouldn't be great. HOWEVER I would never want your direction to be controlled by the audience more than what you feel you want to pursue and I would fully support you going in your direction even if in the worst case that meant I tuned in less ❤️ love ya mate 🫡

Thanks for putting together these narrations of some of my favorite stories. Poor Echo... one of those charachters you can read about and wish you could meet in person. Narcissus is a d*** though lol. When your name is Narcissus you can't help but to be a pric lol

You are right about Cupid - Eros :D This is an old story made long ago, but it is such a great story, so we thought to save it from oblivion on our channel and include it in this compilation anyway. We apologize if we misinformed anyone, that was not our intention.

🥰 Thank you for this compilation. I finally finished Haphesteus and I loved your version better than the one I read eons ago which was a super sad take on events. Some of these gods think it's enough to sit there and look pretty 😉 but mortals appreciate a man who is good with their hands ✋ 😁

I used to tell my own invented bedtime stories to my kids. They always look forward to it every night. But since I was already worn out from the days chores, I was the first to fall asleep. The kids would then asked me about the story I started to tell them, while shaking me to wake up. They then would tell me the next day that they would ask me about the story and according to them I would answer something else in my sleep and they start laughing. They seemed to like it because it made them laugh. That was our bedtime story. The mother fell asleep while telling her made up bedtime story while the kids laughed the night away. 😅
