i learned recently that when you put on cream contour and bronzer to NOT put it on it stripes and to put it on it dots because stripes are hard to blend out on the foundation. also your bronzer would look nicer in my opinion if you didnt bring it so low on on your forhead and if you contoured under your jaw a little bit to even out all your shadowing.

i love cream contouring. i think its best to blend it out with a sponge and i use like a not so pigmented bronzer to set it so it doesn’t move around! my skin is dry though i dont know if setting the cream contour parts with a bronzer will be enough for oily skin

Soph!! A suggestion for your powder + cream contour: you could just powder your regular skin areas, and then set your cream contour with a powder bronzer!

Tip for cream contour! Pick up the product on a flat top brush (basically a foundation brush) and lay it on in the area you want it, then by doing that it's a lot easier to blend so there aren't any random patches. Then you had the problem with powder so I would recommend using a brush and a loose translucent powder! I absolutely love your channel to bits!

i use cream contour and bronzer and a tip i’ve been loving is a to use a brush to distribute the product and then go over it with a beauty blender. instead of going over it with powder, use a powder contour and bronzer and that will set it in place perfectly! i have really oily skin too and that works for me

Hey Sophie, the way I use cream bronzer/ contour is to do your normal foundation routine (wet). Then cream contour and concealer (wet). Then set your contour with bronzer powder, and the under eyes and rest of the face with powder. Avoid putting the face-colored powder on top of the cream contour so you can keep the depth of the color. Hope it helps! Keep experimenting with makeup and learning more! It's a process for all of us too ! 💕

Hey I find the easiest way to apply cream contour is by warming it up on the back of your hand first and then using a brush to apply/blend it in at the same time, drawing a line and then trying to blend it out is usually far more work! ❤️

I actually use a dark shade of Born this way concealer to contour. I apply it with the wand then blend it with a brush or sponge. I actually use bronzer to set it. It’s the only method I’ve found that doesn’t wash away the contour. I use MAC Give Me Sun. I’m far from an expert on this but this seems to work for me 🤗

You need less contour than you think. Just use cream contour and it looks perfect. The problem is that the powder bronzer doesn't blend in with your skin as well as the cream one. Also the powder one contracts with your skin. Not orange and just PERFECT. Not hate Jane been watching you for more than a year now... I love you😍😍😍❤️

I agree too, that bronzer she's using is definitely too orange. She's also using a little too much. But can't blame her, I couldn't find any shade or bronzer and contour here, I found my perfect shades when I was on holiday in Poland and products I got are drugstore polish brands. I'm very fair, lighter than Soph. I'm so happy I got my perfect shades but it's not so xool you can't get products here, in the UK that are perfect shades for fair skin. Brands should focus on these things as well across the white colour spectrum.

I have to agree, it's hard to find a bronzer to suit very pale skin but I think the main reason it looks a bit off is that she's putting it in the wrong places for her face shape. People with short foreheads and rounder faces, like myself, shouldn't put contour or bronzer at the top of the forehead it looks shorter then and out of proportion.

I use a real techniques brush, I believe it’s called the contour brush (orange handle) and I put the product on the brush and apply it that way rather than the contour stick directly to the skin, I buff it right into the ear and follow the hollows of the cheeks.. I think your contour looks lovely, I really like the way you do it! I have really pale skin as well and using the RT brush works for me.. love you videos 💗💗

so you wont probably read this but for cream contour I first rub the stick on the back of my hand so the tip of the stick is a little "melt". then draw your contour, it works really well for me cause it's softer and it's easier to blend it out👌🏻💕love u

Loved the video! Little tip for super dry lips: I started using salt water (2+ table spoons of salt on 250 ml water) on a cotton ball a while ago as I adore 24h lipstick but that one unfortunately dries them out so so much. After using the mixture 2-3 times a day alongside some lip balm when going out my lips are super smooth and not peeling themselves every other day anymore! (Works wonders reducing redness and getting blemishes to heal faster too :D )q

Contour higher because when you blend it out, it goes a lot lower than you really want otherwise. You looked stunning with those cream products by N&F. You should try a less orange/red base bronzers for your skin tone. L’Oréal GlamBronzer is a great one for fair skin and it blends beautifully without being harsh.

Advice for anyone cream contouring: dab the sponge onto the stick and then apply it to your face, that way you’re not taking off your foundation trying to blend it in and you can build it :)
