I rarely wear mascara. I use GrandeLash Serum and it really REALLY works. People have said "What mascara are you wearing?" Even when I have nothing on. The main reason I don't wear it is because I'm Afraid that my beautiful VERY long curled lashes might fall out when I take off the mascara.

Different countries unfortunately have different laws and therefore get through loop holes. If the footage has been registered for copyright you can find the source from their location and 100% sue them.

I definitely think that the law needs to consider this issue, I don't know if it is worth getting some of the other the tubers that have been affected and a few affected make up brands to come together to fight this issue because its potentially damaging to the reputation of the brands and you tubers not to mention that there is no way of knowing if these fake products are safe!

Contact Mayblline as there may be trademark or advertising infringements. Also maybelline May be able to contact the Uk or German cosmetics regulator. The regulator has ways of looking for the brand and to see if they are registered to sell in Europe and are even compliant with European regulations.

They probs won't respond because the emails etc are not coming from a solicitor. They know you are not serious about going to a lawyer. I don't know if you get a lawyer to draft an official letter that you can use over and over (or if they would want you to pay over and over for them to draft a new response everytime that happens.) If you haven't you could speak to a solicitor to see what your options are.

I saw that ad on Facebook (I’m in Sweden). I could definitely tell the mascara you and the other people were using in the video wasn’t the mascara they were advertising. And the maybelline one is such a popular mascara that anyone who is interested in makeup knows what the packaging looks like by now. I didn’t want to comment on the video and be followed by similar ads for months, so I just reported it as a scam.
