It's also a bit more of the edge of her finger pulling the eyeliner than the pad of her finger. I've done this by accident several times, and it happens when just the slightest edge catches the liner.

For the eyeliner, don’t drag the whole line, just the very bottom as if you’re making it super straight. You can also do it with a damp q-tip and drag it along the bottom and it makes it super sharp!!

Those freckles look amazing, and i saw a similar hack on tiktok last year: Medium size, loose bristle, powder/blush brush, get it wet, flick excess water off, separate with your fingers to your disire, dip it into a bronzer or tan eye shadow, and apply that to your face (pat into skin with beauty blender if its too dark). Works really well and I use it to bring out my natural freckles a lot

i smudge my winged eyeliner with my finger every day - i use a soft kohl pencil and draw a rough wing, then smudge underneath and on top to shape it. i don’t smudge directly on the wing! just slightly beyond the edge and it works great!

Hi! Pro MUA here, my hack is for after the sellotape glitter hack! If you have little bits of glitter stick on your lids or if some falls on the rest of your face and you wanna get it off, use a spoolie! I have hundreds kicking about for clients but you can get a bulk pack of disposable spoolies for a few pounds on amazon and I strongly suggest having them around just in case- you have no idea how handy they are for so many things! The thumb eyeliner thing is how I accidentally do mine every day. I usually just run my finger along the edge of the liner and swipe it up in the direction I want, but more in an effort to clean up the line 😊 Also, I always put mascara on after my lashes because it makes them blend in together. Then if you just use an oil to take your makeup off and give the lashes a clean at the same time. Then a gentle wipe with a cotton pad and your lashes are good to go. If they're natural fibre lashes, give them a wipe with a cotton swab dipped in jojoba oil or argan or something nice like that. 😊
