I have never seen anyone play this fiendishly difficult etude so charmingly! To be able to play the piece perfectly and accurately is one thing, but to be able to play with such enthusiasm, charisma and spirit is on a whole new level. Your musical maturity beats pianists twice your age! Bravo, Sophia!

I love Saint-Saens he s so colorful and enjoyable, and you performed like a charm. You sound really great as usual.

Also, any chance your video of Alkan's Les Omnibus will return to KZbin? It was a great and important recording.

And how do you find op. 111 no. 6? I came across it recently by chance kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6bbmHingb9_e5Ysi=nF34kWXUj-zMNIpa (Cécile Ousset on the piano) and couldn't but think about you remembering how much you said you like Saint-Saens. It's arguably not as good as op. 52 no. 6 but it still sounds wisecracking, entertaining. Maybe not exactly the competition piece, hard to fit into the recital too, I imagine, but like just for fun in the free time

I also think Op.111 No.6 is a great piece! Thank you.
