I love that she’s studying so much ballet now. It makes me sad that so many dance moms girls are not training so much now. They are just so into their social media accounts. It makes me wonder if dance moms had never happened would they be more into dancing now instead of trying to be celebrities? Not that Sophia was really a dance moms girl but I’m happy to see her still obsessed with dance!

@@ammiiel She said that she wasn't 'strong enough' to do ballet, and that it wrecked her emotionally. She was being bullied in the studio for her body shape and size, and ended up very unwell because of it. I think taking time off made Sophia realise that ballet is not the style for her, and that's why she's sticking with jazz and contemporary.

It's been shown time and time again that Abby thought Maddie was the best and only good dancer she had and that she paid little attention to anyone else, Sophia included. It's nothing derogatory to the child I mean they cannot help how others feel about them, they are both outstanding dancers, it's just sad how Abby behaved

Maddie has never had a strong ballet technique... Sophia grew up as a ballerina. Maddie is far from being anywhere near her level of technique. She is great tho, but not as technical as Sophia.

True lol. Her preparation would've been frowned upon at many studios, but I don't think it's a big deal because her teachers would have picked up on it and corrected her otherwise. You still need amazing spotting, focus, balance, and core strength to do that many turns though!!

I total get that people think the number of turns she can do is amazing, but while she has good control over her turns, I really would love to see her stop winding up. She been doing this for over a decade now and I really don't understand why she still does such horrible technique in her prep. Like I get that she wants to show off, but at least have the self respect to not cheat, especially this far into her career.
