I have to say, the kid at the end really blew me away and was my favorite - the playing, the laughing! Great video, Sophie!

I’ve been playing for about 14 years, but REALLY focusing on it for the past 7 years (I’m 26 now). I can’t even wrap my mind around sweep picking, I can barely hit a pinch harmonic, and I definitely can’t shred fast. Absolutely insane to see these kids showcasing their skills, discipline, and natural talent! I wanna be as good as that last kid someday.🤞

50 plus years of hacking away on guitar (bass, drums, production, whatever) and not even close to any of that but... still having plenty of fun! And, that's what I saw in all of those young players. Now everyone go out and encourage someone to start or pick it up again (whatever it is)! We need more people to jam with (and it's good for the brain)! TS (Thanks Sophie!)

ALL these kids are just amazing, I sincerely believe that there was some kind of universal upgrade to our kids, because none of us could of been this good at 8 YEARS OLD, LMAO, even if we had KZbin. lol 8:01 This kid is actually on IG, and just Sweeps Away like it's just breathing to him. lol What amazes me, is these kids are not just playing technically with PERFECTION, they grow up Like Lisa-X to play with their entire heart and soul. Which proves to me, that Music regardless of what anyone likes, is a universal language of souls that unites us all, always. I just love these kid's, so much energy, and they always have Fun Playing. That's Key! They're just awesome!! - Bill Cragg

Well Sophie you are perfect proof that female guitarists can not only be just as good or better than their male counterparts, but a lot nicer to look at. I will just refer to that short you did recently with that outfit. Honestly one of the most beautiful visions I have ever seen. You have an insane body. You would find Sophie that as you get older certain things are harder to learn because you have developed habits. Habits than you may have to unlearn. Young kids are a clean slate. They are not so much better or more talented, they just don't have to unlearn anything. That isn't a bad thing, it is just life.

OMG. I have seen a few of them before but am no less amazed at seeing them again--in fact, more so. And the one you highlighted again at the end? I think when you see a modified and elevated foot pedal you can safely assume with one hundred percent assurance that what will ensue is going to nuke your mind.

The kid playing Jason Becker wasn't just shredding. There was some real phrasing in there and control of tone. Some of them are technically impressive but that kid actually shreds like a god and makes you want to hear more. Great feel. He didn't play it like a robot, he dragged a few notes, it was fantastic and he clearly was having fun. Fantastic vibrato. It actually sounded really close to the original recording.

I remember when Thomas McLaughlin was considered a kid prodigy, He was the guitarist featured in Steve Vai's music video "The Audience is Listening" (1990).He then became the lead guitarist in Bad4Good (Wikipedia) well he is a great musician, but far from guitar virtuosos like Vai, Eddie, Nuno etc I wonder how many of those kids prodigies became a relevant guitarist. (In music production)
