This is MY FAVORITE heatless method. My stylist mentioned it in passing (it’s her naturally curly friend’s vacation hair strategy) and it works so well. A few things I’ve noticed: - Damp hair gives me a tighter curl and longer lasting results. - Where you place the twists (closet to your part or closer to your hairline) affects where the waves begin - The more aggressively layered my hair is, the more length I have to leave untwisted at the ends. There is less hair to twist, so the diameter gets smaller and the curl gets tighter as you reach the end.

I'll try it and I'll come back with the results tomorrow. WHILE DOING IT: As this is my very first time doing this it took me like 5 mins for each side but, it wasn't that hard to do but the arm pain that you get while trying stuff like this really kicks in. SLEEP TIME: my experience while sleeping with this wasn't that interesting, it just feels like you're sleeping in a ponytail, but if you tighten it a lot it will rip your hair so don't do it too tight. DAY AFTER: (IN PROGRESS)

Anyone whose hair is longer you can braid the rest of the length and it will continue the wave pattern. I can do this starting at a chin length bob until it’s about shoulder length in pigtails like she did but then the straight part starts to be odd so you have to braid the ends or twist them into a little bun and pin them at the back.

Update** I tried it and it didn’t work so well but to be fair I can’t braid my own hair either which would basically be the same thing so it’s totally a me problem any tips would help though!!

You can continue to twist, do a regular braid or do like a small bun at the end so it can have a bit of wave.
