My aunt puts her tulips in the fridge at night and they stay so pretty for so long! Also try a mixture of water with a peeled and quartered onion and white (cleaning)vinegar to wipe down your backsplash with and then drying it off with a dishcloth. I used this on my windows and they always come out streak free.

I'm sure someone has answered already but I used to have the same problem with the mirror in the exact same place in my kitchen, you just need to use a microfiber colth with even just a tiny bit of water and it works wonders. You can also use it with glass cleaner but just a tiny bit, like drops actually. If you put too much on the cloth you'll get the same problem you have right now... Hope this helps! Love you :*
