For search parties I think you're supposed to play online since you can place standees on top of the hidden blocks to indicate where the blocks are. Also, all of the hidden blocks have a symbol on them, which means that if you play that certain character, you get to see that block when you're nearby the block. This is also scattered throughout the levels of wonder

I tried one the first time, ignored them until I beat Bowser, then returned with the Sensor flower, which makes it 10,000 times easier.

I'm gonna be honest, for me the music level was EASY. The TRUE FINAL LEVEL is the bane of my existence, I had 78 lives left after that. ( Edit:) I had 99 lives going in, 78 after about 30-45 minutes

That final level made me wanna keep myself safe from all harm. The section where [SPOILERS FOR FINAL LEVEL] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . you have to use the Spring Feet Badge was easily the most time-consuming part of clearing the game 100%

Tbh I only bought the wonder seeds and badges. The 1-ups were covered through the badge that makes enemies drop 3+ coins when defeated. While I still haven’t gotten up to 99 lives (yet), I still haven’t gotten a game over and I’ve finished every level except the very last one, so that counts for something.

As long if you’ve played any Mario 2d platformer, and aren’t a child, than this level is easy, though, the floaty jump does overshoot sometimes, so good idea for switching 👍

Honestly, this game has the polar opposite design philosophy to 3D Land/World; Wonder is a 2D game that feels like a 3D game, while vice versa was true with 3D Land/World. Normally I’d say the only bad thing about Super Mario Wonder is that it ends, but using the badge system to combine with certain abilities or characters (i.e. Jet Run w/ Elephant Mario, the Flutter Jump w/ Yoshi) can bring new life into the same old levels. The expert badges would be awesome for challenge runs… if you could have accessed them from the start. It’s understandable why they aren’t, but imagine an entire playthrough with invisible Mario lmao. Super Mario Wonder makes it clear that Mario, even after almost 40 years since his inception, still dominates the platformer genre, and why Nintendo is still revered in spite of their other flaws. I hope liking this game makes up for me also liking Pokemon Scarlet/Violet despite it having Bethesda syndrome.

I would agree that Jump! Jump! Jump! and the Fluff-Puff Peaks Special are the worst levels in Super Mario Bros Wonder. That level would cause many people to throw their Joy-Cons or Controllers across the room because of how hard trying to time it is.

i know people are gonna hate me for being “that guy”, but i have to say it. they did absolutely PHENOMENALLY with this game. that said, if they can put this much love, imagination and creativity in this game, they can do the same thing with animal crossing. new ideas with the same charm as all the previous games before new horizons. they have so much potential. atp, have the mario team inspire the ac team. because this game is just so incredibly amazing, i KNOW they have it in them to make the new new leaf of the 2020 era/“generation”.
