Just what is so creepy about it? From your avatar, you look pretty young. You DO know she was imitating Marilyn Monroe when she sung that song just like that for JFK at his 45th birthday party the Democratic Party threw at Madison Square Garden in New York City, don't you? It caused quite the controversy at the time. She also boofed both JFK AND his brother Bobby! Fran Feldstein is one of the very few characters in the Soprano's I actually really like. She had class. She worked hard as a furrier at Bamberger's (Bought out by Macy's) flagship store in Newark. Plus, she asked Tony for nothing unlike the other "whoowas" he and the other guys knew. Plus she raised a son on her own. Plus I think she's kind of cute!

There are only 2 times in the entire series I truly felt sorry for Tony and I actually teared up, mob boss or no mob boss. When AJ tried to commit suicide and he rescued him from the pool and was holding him while AJ cried and Tony kept calling him his 'baby.' And THIS scene with Junior when he says "I mean don't you love me?" and Junior doesn't answer him.

@retroguy9494

@@poordecisionsandworsesolut6397 Well, I think that is the brilliance of David Chase. He leaves it up to US to form our own conclusion. Was Junior being just the typical sociopath and he really DOESN'T love his own nephew despite all the flashback episodes when Tony was a kid? Or is it Junior's dementia which was worse by that time and he truly does not process the question correctly or understand what Tony is trying to communicate? Or is Junior in another place and time when Tony talks to him, hence the facial expression you mention? Either way, you can see that Tony is really hurt emotionally which is why I feel sorry for him. First he had to deal with his mother (that black hole) and how his uncle who, it was assumed, he was sure loved him.

Tony was a deeply unhappy guy. On one level he wanted to give his family the happiness that he never had when he was a kid - big house, luxury cars, fancy clothes, expensive schools - but on another level, once he gave them all of those things, he resented them for it because he “earned” the money by risking his life to buy all of those things while Carmela was simply a housewife and the kids were in school. My mother was this way too. After my dad died and left us very little insurance, my mother had to go back to work at age 50. She made enough money to support the house while my brother and I finished (public) college but she laid into us every day for having to do it. I can tell you that this is very damaging behavior.

This is called emotional blackmail. They try to hold your emotions hostage by their sacrifice. They didn't want to, but that was "the right thing to do", thus, they believe you owe them respect + any emotion they demand. My father is written all over your story. Through our lowest he often repeated over and over how he paid the bills, my school (until college whereas we may have free public school, provided you pass hardcore exams) and even demand me around the house every weekend for cleaning. If I cleaned my part and his was dragging, I'd heard from it until morning, like it was mine. If I had more of it done, it was but "my obligations". Next day's evenings, some pizza and all is forgotten. The cycle repeats over and over. Abusive behavior always sustains a cycle, you see? My cycle got broken once I left, thanks God I could leave. Most can't, since I was the kid, not the parent. Sometimes, it's your wife/husband the abuser and they shield their behavior behind children. Then, you're an emotional slave. They get to do whatever they want. Beat you, scorn you, humiliate you. Everything is fair to them. Because you owe them, you see? The cycle repeats...

He is just insane. Season 6 wrapped up all the characters well and had a way of reminding us just how warped some of them really are, and how hypocritical others are. @@davidbarton1806good people can be drug addicts. Everybody who suffers inside can become one, and if you suffer to long (really suffer, so much you hate yourself more than anybody else in the world just for suffering, people think they know what hate is because they hate some Nazi or child abuser, but you don't know what hate is until you hate yourself more than that just because of the fact that you are you, even if you never did anything wrong. That's what causes addiction). The fact you listed drug addiction as a immortal trait in someone means that you know jack shit about what you talk about. Chris was a bad person because he killed people, and was a goon for the mob. That's the only reasons he was a bad person. I say that you will get really addicted to some hard drug one day. It will open your eyes about it, because you're are either too ignorant with your dunning Kruger effect, or you already are and the root cause of your addiction is still there and you still hate yourself and that's why you wrote your comment. I actually feel really sorry for AJ. First off, look at the environment in which he was raised. A sociopath mobster for a father who gives him nothing but double message and hypocrisy. A money grubbing guidette mother who turns a blind eye to her husbands crimes to get more material possessions. Plus SHE is a hypocrite as well. Trying to pass herself off as a very religious holier than thou Catholic when she lusts after other men while criticizing Tony for his women. And don't even get me started on his 'black hole' grandmother! Plus AJ also suffers from chemical depression inherited from his father. You have to feel sorry for the kid!
