Great for film makers. Bad for actors. Sora isn't in a union, does exactly what it's told when it's told. It can look like anything you want it to look like. Never complains. Never has any demands or any personal schedule to work around. Can go to any county at a moments notice. Can do it's own stunts. Be any age and even reverse or advance their age on the fly. Never requires makeup or costumes. Have any skillset reqired of it for a scene. The sets will always be exactly what you want however big or small and the weather will always be perfect. And give it more time when sound and voice get added (because it WILL) can speak any language in any accent. As far as sound is concerned, you'll be nuts if you think that isn't on the horizon. The writing is on the wall everyone, if you're looking to get into acting it would be smart not dismiss stage acting as landing tv and film roles are going to get even more competitive.

I am not completely sure about the Sora, even though I like it, I am a little worried about people getting eye problems, like seizures. Also, what I am impressed about the Sora, is how it was made to make the scenes and pictures happen in less than a second, even though, we can just type them.

I think filmmaking will be collaborated effort but I don't think Ai could replace actors directors screenwriters, I think it will streamline the filmmaking process maybe vfx wise we might reach a level which we wouldnt otherwise.

Not might, will. I am so happy I was born to love technology despite all of my other interests because at a time where AI advancement kid viewed as a threat, I see more opportunity. AI replaces but must be ran or told in its current form. So for now, and the near future, AI is only a tool to be wielded. If you’re an artist, AI can give you ideas, it can start a punting for you, it can finish variations for you, at the very least it can brainstorm with you, a tool. You used to need a big studio and competent actors and actresses. When I heard about this, the first thing that popped in my mind was that I can cast myself as the main character of a film and have the rest created and interacting, or just direct the books I’ve written and bring them to life. This tech isn’t that far yet but in this year or the next you will probably be able to get a version of this. Regardless it’s nothing but opportunity. The only ones who will last in ANY industry are those who adapt. If the robots are flipping burgers, learn to fix the robots. 💡

I think the only positions that might survive are the creatives in charge, to approve and or modify what ai has done. The trades men will need to go elsewhere. above the line will be mostly safe to a certain extent.

​@@ereceeme Fair opinion, My opinion is every job will survive and Ai will be used for making things faster and easier, not only this feature there might be more things from Ai that will be possible, Ai also can't replace actors acting main thing is emotion and an Ai doesn't have it. Screenwriters will be the ones in charge of prompting the Ai and modifying it.

I honestly find it a little hilarious how you keep mentioning how this is "great for indie filmmakers" to get those "expensive scenes done" but you don't seem to contemplate for a second how entire films will be made like this, indie or not and this will kill an entire industry... Zero art or talent or skill involved in this. Any loser will be able to make films. End of story.
