If sora can truly keep character consistency between separately generated clips, that will be a game changer for many who are trying to generate longer video. I think most of us have played with "save the last frame of this 5 second video and use that image to start the next one", but as we know most of the AI video creators like to evolve facial features and pretty soon your character looks like someone completely different.

Samson, considering that you’re located in Britain, I’m genuinely curious about the steps you’ve taken to connect with Sora. Have you managed to find a particular method or workaround to gain access, such as using specific online tools or tapping into a network of resources not widely known? I’m interested in understanding not only how you’ve been able to overcome the usual geographic restrictions, but also what motivated you to explore these avenues in the first place. It would be fascinating to learn more about the process you followed, the obstacles you encountered, and how you ultimately succeeded in reaching Sora.

The censorship of OpenAI in their video and even image generations are very troubling and unfortunate. Open source tools are the future
@marcus_ohreallyus23 күн бұрын
I'm really tired of the censorship. It appears that its done in very broad strokes, which might be the only way possible. I really wish these tools were a little more "free" in the depiction of sex and violence without allowing the extremes that could cross a line. I guess the real problem lies in WHO gets to determine what crosses the line.
@FilmSpook23 күн бұрын
@@marcus_ohreallyus Yes, MiniMax is currently the most allowing of sexual and violent content. You can even bypass its restrictions sometimes by repeatedly running the prompt and then quickly downloading the video result before it is caught by their system and disappears. 😅

I was about to go all in on runway, but I saw this. I'm amazed. I would like to see comparison video. Thank you for putting this out
@FilmSpook23 күн бұрын
Runway is slow motion, it doesn't follow prompts well, and it doesn't animate with very good physics, but MiniMax does all three of those things well. MiniMax follows prompts much better than Sora as well. Runway's "fast motion" doesn't look natural and is just a faster slower motion. MiniMax gives us normal-speed videos, by default, almost 100% of the time. Slow motion is overused, these days, and Runway and Kling and Luma basically force its users to make slow motion short films. MiniMax is The KING, for now, for creating TRULY cinematic videos.

“Employ” to use…not “implore”…easing up on pretending to be a "dictionary mouth" is recommendable, both because intelligent native English speakers will notice and also because ESL speakers won't know what are talking about. After residing in multiple countries where English isn't the main language, I have sometimes intentionally avoided using some English when writing and so on. And yes, also in primarily English speaking countries. It's more valuable to communicate than to try to impress with uncommon words or patterns. And mainly only some black and brown africans try to use that grift, because they don't do any actual useful science or engineering, so it's recommended not to use that grift.

There is only so many hours in the day to look at true art - I run out of time looking at all the important historical and culturally relevant artifacts and learn about them, and think about the significance of their lives in relation to our purpose on this planet. If it's not real, or from a real place, or real time, I have absolutely zero interest in it. Additionally, I would never ever trust any serious journalist if they used manipulated media. I cannot even understand how such a thing can be taken seriously. People have lost their minds.
