Honestly, I think this is a really good representation of Sora. Kingdom Hearts games have always been pretty simple on the outside, with a lot of mechanics that make the game more complex if you look depe enough. Easy to learn, hard to master so to say. We are still at Day 1, but I have no doubt that Sora is gonna have some wild stuff down the line. Also, I don't think Sonic Blade (Side-B) is gonna be the Bayo 2 that everyone is worried about. I've noticed that Sonic Blade usually launches people in another direction other than the one you are going, making it tough to ladder with.

Given that this is all supposed to be KH1-based, I think that Dark Links are Darkside (you fight him twice.) G&W are Shadow Heartless. Cloud is Cloud. Robin is Riku (you fight him three times.) Ganondorf is "Ansem" (Seeker of Darkness.) Metal Sora is Anti Sora (the version that Riku summoned in Neverland.)

That "second jump" you keep criticizing is actually a thing in the Kingdom Hearts games. It's a pretty staple ability known as "Double Flight", and yeah, it may seem wacky to look at but if you're a frequent player of the series, it's a pretty useful skill that can not only help you reach higher ground and jump a second time in the air, but also allow you to avoid oncoming aerial attacks like fireballs and projectiles thrown at you if you're quick enough. I haven't played Smash but I assume that's the case here as well

I like in story mode you fight a lot of “dark” variants of the fighters like Dark Link to cleanse them from the darkness, and the Mr. Game and Watch representing the heartless and I also like that Ganadorph was referencing Dark Side (the first Heartless boss you encounter in every Kingdom Hearts game) or it could be master xehanort. And your right with the Robins representing the Organization members. Two boys and one girl (Larxene) and love how they added Cloud into the mix as well
