Man this was my favaorite fight in KH. Not the final ones in either main game compares to Sora fighting his best friend's possesed body in an epic one on one confrontation in front of a door leading to a world of darkness. Awesome memories!

That's because he IS a little kid in the first one. The second game takes place about one or two years later, and Sora is older then. In this game he really is just a little boy, but he's charged with restoring peace to a galaxy infested by Heartless.

He was born in a world between light and darkness like all nobodies. You see Sora's body disappear in this video when he becomes a heartless. Roxas(with Ven's heart) appears in Twilight Town with Xemnas. You see a scene in KH2 Final Mix where Xemnas names Roxas. Meanwhile Sora's heart is that Shadow heartless. Yes, Heartless are hearts and Nobodies are bodies. What a twist.

@JakenXL well sora's heart was a combination of ven's and sora's because they were born at the same time. when he gave his heart to kairi right there and then he gets it back in a few minutes in a different scene, so his ven's heart is just still there

Sora becomes a heartless, and chases after his friends (you are playing as heartless Sora). When he reaches them nobody except Kairi recognizes him. Heartless surround all of them. Kairi embraces Sora to protect him. This results in a burst of energy that destroys the attacking Heartless, and turns Sora back to normal. He still hugs Kairi, and thanks her for saving him

You can actually cancel his Sin Harvest attack. When he teleports and didn't appear near you, he's going to use it. Quickly lock on him, and superglide to him once he speaks "Descend Heartless Angel", and attack. Your timing decides your fate against Sephy...
