Wow another beauiful koi variety
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
For sure. Soragoi is a simple looking variety, but can be stunning!

Great video , i have 3 ginrin soragoi tosai i have produced last year. Could u give me an opiniom
@Aboutkoi2 жыл бұрын
Wow, that is nice! Did you breed them by yourself?
@lilikays65283 жыл бұрын
I was wondering why you would choose a lighter color soragoi?
@Aboutkoi3 жыл бұрын
I personally prefer them as light as possible. Usually they become a bit darker over time. Getting it too dark in my opinion can result in a too dark coloured (almost black) Soragoi which you can't even see swimming in your pond 😊

I have a chagoi but it has black markings on it would that be a low grade chagoi thanks
@Aboutkoi2 жыл бұрын
If it are small black dots. Then yes I think it are small 'shimis' these are small black dots that start to appear usually over the years. Its indeed not something for a high class chagoi. :(

I bought what I thought was a soragoi, months later it developed small brown spots below the lateral line and belly. I’m guessing it’s a ochiba?
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
Probably some Ochiba blood is in there indeed. When you are lucky it will disappear again. Let's hope for that! (or that it becomes a beautiful Ochiba of course!)

Ginrin Soragoi?
@dippifiedwanderer90434 жыл бұрын
Sora means sky. Maybe you are confusing with nezu ogon.😊 soragoi is a reference to bluish grey sky.
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
You are actually right! It indeed means sky!

For larger size, better to avoid ginrin versions. Ginrin genes have a disadvantage of lack of size.
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
I agree, most of the time ginrin varieties seem to stay smaller. Sometimes the ginrin also fades away partly. For a large Koi indeed smarter to stick to the normal variant. 👍

Also, I've seen someone advertise a very dark ginrin koi as soragoi, probably black color. Is that still a soragoi?
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
You are the first indeed ;)
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would dat it is still a soragoi. Some do refer to then as Black Soragoi

Giá ở việt nam là 500.000 đến 2.000.000 một em
@Aboutkoi4 жыл бұрын
That's about 20 to 70 euro I think. That sounds reasonable compared to Europe 😀. At least for the quality showed in this video!
