After all these years and looking at this fight and hearing Ventus... I realized that although we have been playing Sora since day 1, we might have actually been playing as Ventus all along. Ventus in KH3 has a moment with Sora like a mentor, so it's possible that Ventus always spoke to Sora subconsciously and helped raised sora in a way to keep him pure and avoid all of his mistakes so that Sora wouldn't have the same fate

Now ik I'm extremely late but hear me out. Judging by what you said and sora is going to show his true colors then the theory of sora really being the master of masters could be really solid. When ventus was released into his own body sora could now start going down a dark path in search of Kairi at the end of kh3. He would always be willing to have his friends aid him but in the ending he tells Donald and Goofy that he needs to go search for Kairi alone. Thus making him spiral into a dark path. Plus his eyes resemble the all seeing eye. AND the master of masters isn't good, nor is he evil. He acts carefree and goofy like sora plus it could explain xehanorts reaction whenever he heard the master of masters identity

Can we just appreciate how great of a voice actor HJO is?! Honestly playing this game for the first time, I didn’t once suspect that Vanitas would look exactly like Sora, even though he has the same voice. I’ve always appreciated the vast differences and duality between Sora and Vanitas, as you could see in their appearances and attitudes. deathmastersful yes it’s result of the beginning of game, when they spilt into two, Ventus’s heart couldn’t take being cleaved in two and was dying, Xehanort took him to his Island to die peacefully But at that moment Sora’s newborn heart made contact with Ventus and forged a connection that connection repaired his heart and saved Ventus As a result Vanitas who was born with a Heartless face with red eyes turned into Sora’s face, and when Sora became a Nobody he took Ventus’ face but more than that, Ventus’ Keyblade actually became Roxas’ second transformed by Keychain to first look like a Kingdom Key then into Oblivion Keyblade

I used to think that the hearts of the Seven Guardians of Light were going to merge with the hearts of the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness in order to forge the χ-blade. But as it turns out, they just needed to strike each other down. It makes sense considering Master Xehanort described letter χ as, "a letter that spells endings, death." 1 Yes, he was. You can figure out when he got norted by confronting Braig first appearence to when he comes to the Keyblade Graveyard. 2 Xehanort mentioned in one of his reports that initially Vanitas didn't have a face. Only later he got one. The reason is that when Ventus heart was split, the good part went for a while in Sora's heart, and Vanitas, since was still connected in a way with Ventus, got Sora's face.

Mcspeed I know it's pretty late, and probably you have already got the d-link part, but you need to full the command bar there to use the finish, and the only way to full it, as I know, is to start one of those quick time events, and to start it, you need to use a command or a shotlock with him, the most safe way to do is basically spamming shotlock, which is also the most easy qte since you just need to button mash

Try to perform the move after attacking him normal. Get him to stagger a bit and then hit him with the combo.

The final QTE portion of the fight is honestly the worst because you can legit whiff the final hit on Last Word, and the fight just continues. And if you're playing on Critical, no healing means you really need to end the fight fast.

I know its for tension building and all, but I always hated villains moving super fast during a battle, but when they finally knock somebody to the floor they apparently require an entire ritual of movements, grunts and pauses when trying to stab that downed person. Its literally a swift downward jab.

Vanitas looks like Sora.. The hair is the same :o I can't help but think of Sora and Roxas.. And how they're both a half of each others, when i heard Vanitas's words. All i truly have some information about, is Kingdom Hearts I.5 Chain of Memories? Idk, it was with playing as Sora though.. And II.5, which was the one with Roxas and Sora.
