I like how so many people within the comments talking about Sorbet Shark Cookies pronouns use the tired, old argument of "It's fictional so it doesn't matter what I call them" when someone else says that Sorbet's pronouns are they/them and not he/him. Hm, a fictional cookie that the devs themselves *SPECIFICALLY* made to have they/them pronouns so it does not matter whether it is real or not. You should respect what the devs put into their work. You wouldn't use he/him pronouns on a woman you know uses she/her, fictional or not. Ex. You wouldn't call Peach, Zelda, Cinderella, Lola Bunny, Sailor Moon, Asuna, Sharpay, Hermione, the list goes on, by he/him pronouns because you know that they use she/her and you call them by such. But when it comes to ANYTHING other than he/him and she/her pronouns that's when you guys want to bring up "oh it's fictional" because you know it's wrong and your intention to ignore pronouns is there but you don't want others to call you out for it. The "it's fictional" argument holds no weight to it, especially if you've correctly called fictional characters by their pronouns before and we know we all have. Just accept that you used the incorrect pronouns, correct yourself next time, then move on with your day. It's that simple. Y'all be acting like using they/them pronouns for Sorbet Cookie is going to kill you or something like it's not that hard to just be correct. Are y'all allergic to being correct?
