Rules Notes: character stands have to be as close to the center of the formation as possible, next to the command stand, and they have to be on their own stand. Lights can't score in that small of a block, unless they get a spell buff. The Elemental Rituals action is a free action, so the maharajah could have cast a spell as well. Evasion is always an option, the efreet have a 1. You can't declare a charge unless there's a possibility of making it in, and if you fail you only move what you rolled on the die. When you do a resolve test, you use the highest resolve in the regiment, if a character stand is attached, you use theirs.

Also. Those hoplites have phalanx, which means they are defense 4 on the front and they cannot roll for a 9 inch charge. They allay go march +3” for the charge. The strategic stack can only add one card to it naturally in a turn.

@@adamkinne6467 you’re welcome. Only 1 use of the strategic stack is allowed per round. So once a card goes in a that’s it, no more using it until the next round. Only exception is Aristarch which lets you use it a second time once per game using the rules in his supremacy. Thanks man, I like the name myself

Just a little note: According to the current rules, Command Stands must be placed in the center of the front row. And Character Stands must be placed directly next to the Command Stand. You have always placed the Character Stands at the edge of the front row.

At 2:00:30 why did the Windborne Djinn not shoot the Thyreans in the flank? To my knowledge it's possible to shoot into melee in Conquest. Awesome job on the batrep and on covering the Sorcerer Kings this week.

My local gaming group prefers narrative skirmish games and RPGS, so I had very little interest in 'Rank-n-Flank' battles - until the Sorcerer Kings set was released. Great concept, gorgeous minis. Really nice. Now I just have to talk the rest of the guys into it...

There's rules for doing narrative campaigns on their website, and they put out campaign boxes to go along with the living world storylines.

Additionally when you buy conquest minis you can use them in the First Blood skirmish rules also. You could get your friends into small skirmish games with the minis, then maybe graduate to the larger armies of Last Argument of Kings if they take to it
