So I'm a Kiekegaard noob and have a very superficial knowledge of Hegel but I have a question. Would it be fair to say the difference between them, which Kiekegaard argues here is that for Kiekegaard the act and the reason for the act, must be kept separate. As for Hegel, we should unite them to become ...self conscious ?

I think thats a good way to put it. Ill do a video on kierkegaards book repetition soon to explore the idea of act more- the question there is whether the act can be repeated, just as we saw here that Abraham's act cannot be

Owen We are contained in the Hegelian cosmic dialectic. But such a formulation of oneness, unity of being and action is not present in Kierkegaard.
