Best sorlock - is fire based dragonsorc + fiend lock. Fire element with fire acuity hat give super save DC to spells. And command from fiend lock with metamagic from sorc just overpowered control. Damage great too. Its - probably - most broken multiclass in game.

Great great point the fire acuity hat can make some builds so powerful because of the spell save DC

FYI, Hex's debuff does not affect saving throws or attack rolls, only ability checks. The debuff is mostly useless. The best option is to hex strength to make enemies easier to shove.

One nice thing is that hex necrotic damage can apply to all three beams of eldritch blast

@JasonDunna Oh yeah, absolutely. And the fact that EB gets multiple beams instead of extra damage dice like traditional damage cantrips at higher levels is that any damage modifiers (ie, CHA and Hex) get added per beam. This makes EB the most damaging cantrip in the game.

@@Prowl76 Eldritch Blast is so powerful. The potent robe I am wearing adds another +5 damage to each beam which is incredible. There are some good eldritch blast builds out there but I think spells are better, and eldritch blast is awesome to fall back on

I love both classes, but haven't tried combining them yet. I know they're great together, but there are so many builds to try in the game that I haven't gotten around to this one yet.

Theres so many awesome builds! Honestly getting at least 6 levels of sorcerer with this staff is SO powerful. Twinned haste is just incredible

Love Sorlock but I usually prioritize sorcerer first

Totally fair sorcerer is my favorite class! Eldritch blast is really nice early game with repelling blast and the potent robe but sorcerer is just as strong

Any alternatives for the potent robes? My partner is playing Durge in honor mode so we couldnt really knock Alfira out T_T

Whatever robes you can find really, you could also add one level of tempest cleric and get heavy armor proficiency, a reaction to attackers and some nice utility spells

Hey Jason! First of all thanks for this detailed guide, helped quite a lot. I do however have a challenge for you. Ever since I discovered that salamis can be used as a weapon. I really wanna get a build together which make me the greatest Salami Dual Wielder that even Withers starts getting a desire for food. But I have no clue where to start. I always wondered there are so many odd weapons you barely end up using, but they are kinda cool. So. How do we make Salamis work.

Yeah I really considered going that route, but I wanted to do something a bit different from other builds I have saw. You do make a good point though, 12 levels of sorcerer is the best in this game
