Hi everyone!
We are diving back to FFXV this week, "Sorrow Without Solace" has been a constant companion, and I've been eagerly awaiting the right moment to share this beautiful work with you all.
I'm still hoping to finish the entire piano collection and we are just 4 more to go!
Here is the orchestrated version of this piece that I love a lot:

Some of you on IG might have noticed a week delay in this upload, and that's because of a small hiccup with one of my XLR cables. After three years of faithful service, it decided to call it quits.
Luckily, a new pair arrived just yesterday for me to get back to recording, and here we are!
I pour my heart into each performance, and I sincerely hope you'll enjoy what I've created for you this week.
P.S.
I've received suggestions to play something from FFVII to help the channel's growth as the Rebirth is such a trend now. While I appreciate the advice, I'm committed to sharing music that resonates deeply with me. I probably will cover something once I got the chance to play the game.

This piece is probably one of the most underrated in the entire FF series. There is just something about it that evokes goosebumps. Especially the heavy slow bass chords in the beginning. It takes its time to build instead heading into a straight forward motif.

This interpretation is hands down the best I've ever heard! It's surprising that it only has 180 likes-XiaoTong is truly one of the most underrated pianists on KZbin, particularly for JRPG/Anime piano covers. The depth of emotion and meticulous attention to each phrase vividly convey the emotions intended by both the composer and XiaoTong, painting a profound auditory picture. Each pianist brings their unique touch to their interpretations, but I find XiaoTong's to consistently resonate closest to the original, often surpassing it. It's even more unbelievable that they were performed on just a YAMAHA YUS5.

You have been uploading for 3 years on this channel, I think it’s awesome that you don’t give up and keep the pace, do you have a strategy to keep yourself motivated and keep improving continuously, maybe a piano teacher or I might be wrong and you just keep thriving on your own every day and when you complete a piece you post it online haha idk.
