Stunty! My name is Andy. I live in the Chicago area. Right now I’m listening to. Jako Maron. You introduced me to him and I gotta say he is blowing my mind lately.! I love the Maloyan roots mixed with electronic. Thank you so much for sharing all your musical knowledge and exposing us to do great music. Also, I recently took my son to Japan Tokyo, and you gave me some advice. I record stores to seek out and it was a great digging experience! Although El Sir it’s now closed and I really wanted to dig there for ethnographic Japanese music. But once again, thank you so so much for all your help and your passion for music.

Hello Andy, thanks for the kind words, and glad to hear you had fun digging in Japan. Le Sir was special, I wonder if he's moved elsewhere, if there's another record selling project. I stlil think about some records I should never have left there, hahahah

Great Neubauten Track! Saw them in the early 90ies as well - completely blew my mind back then.

There’s something Wagnerian about that Laibach track. Their music is not to my taste, but it took a lot of courage to make it and release it. It’s the stuff of the legend today, but back then someone had to feel the heat on their own skin. Respect!

I'm 100 percent with you on both points. And as I was saying, this one makes the cut, for not using irony in uts DNA, or at least not in their usual way.

That 2nd track from Natalia Beylis sounds like sea organ from Zadar. I wonder if it really is. Great music. Thanks for highlighting her. That Hjirok LP! I’ll need to listen to the whole thing.

Yes, Both records really challenge you in the best possible ways, and have the added quality of being fairly accessible to anyone, music wise, or so I delued myself into thinking ^^

What's King's Night, enlight me 😃

@@StuntrockConfusion This is the night before King's Day. In many cities, in the Netherlands, it is celebrated extensively with live music in pubs and outside in the streets, and DJs play in restaurants or clubs. We traditionally celebrate this holiday while dressed in orange😁

I saw Einsturzende Neubauten on the Perpetuum Mobile tour and got all of their autographs on the handwritten set list, but it was stolen when a couple of guys broke into my garage and robbed me. :/ This is the first time I have heard you play anything by them on your livestream.
@StuntrockConfusion5 ай бұрын
I think I only played them once before that. maybe twice. I have all their records I need though, which is everything from hte first one up until and including End Neue, and this comp, with the exception of some live stuff. I feel after End Neue, they started to repeat themselves. Being robbed of your prized musicl artifacts and memories, what a bummer!
