i beat 6.5 stars with my 2 stars liv 30 Asol. spellweaver ( my only epic slot ) and create a champion spell in hand when level , plus anyone of those powers that create a free cheap spell round start, and possibly refill spell mana power. It was so easy that after Viego I went and beat on my first try Lissandra, and on the second one ( i didn t find the cheap spell power the first run ) Swain without the tough nexus

Yes, you absolutely want champions with asol. Free cards are always good, and many champs are wincons themselves.

you want SOME, but if you flood your deck with them, they will level auto, but u wont have things to make them cheaper. With Asol, you want things that create cards more than anything, at least in my games with him

I try to avoid picking champs when playing asol. More champs are nice but they pollute the deck more often than not. The epic that adds champs as a PLAY effect is more than enough most of the time. One more epic for the mana gem then the last can be whatever to buff your board/deck depending what adventure you're doing. I.e. tough nexus, overwhelm/challenger allies etc. Even without good rewards, I've lost maybe one asol run and the wins are all blowouts as soon as he drops.

On Asol? really depends on on what you have, he doesnt need much. I like cheeky stuff like the spellweaver, and condenser. some ppl put the rally on his as well. you can go GGC. The extra mana is just a really nice thing to have.

@@JinxDidNothingWrong I ended up beating it with my plunder build. I use the -2 cost and +1/+1 when you hit the nexus epic relic, the -2 cost when you hit the nexus, and grand general counterplant to remove their units while I stall until turn 5 to kill them (liss 6'5*)
