Once again, just doodling around in Unreal with my Kitbash3D sets. I haven't really been able to find a lot of time to do some modeling, texturing and a whole lot of animating myself lately because I've been very busy with some very interesting projects. So here I wanted to focus once again on atmosphere, lighting and composition.
I have been working on a lot of virtual production projects with UE4 in LED-and greenscreen setups and last week we received the news that we got funding to start developing a virtual production short film in LED-setup and I get to write and co-direct it, as well as working on the Unreal scenes. How crazy is that?! Additionally I'm in the stages of finalizing a contract with an animation studio in the UK (I'm from Belgium) to work part-time as a CG supervisor, which is equally exciting! 2022 has a lot in store for me it seems and I can only look back on 2021 as a year that brought me so many opportunities and I hope that from time to time I can find some time to create a little something like these videos on my channel.
As for the scene I created here: I wanted to create a commercial-like vibe, like you see car commercials with sleek-looking renders, but for a surveillance hovercraft, that now has probably been surveilling for too much for too long, rendering the streets of this brutalist city empty and deserted. "Sorry I have created this." someone is thinking. "And for robbing this city of its life."
Take care and I wish you all the best for the holidays.

I like the scale of this 'world/scenes' pretty simple, but very effective. Pretty cool. And also happy holidays :)

How did you do the glitch effect? You're so awesome

The glitch effect was actually done in after effects. So I mostly rendered everything twice. One time with the graffiti/spinner and one tile without. So in after effects I could then glitch between the two

wow you're so cool, can I add you? I'm a subscriber and fan of yours. I mean I'm also using Unreal Engine but I'm still a beginner. My dream is to make animations
