What are you using to capture your facial performance? i only noticed you were a metahuman at the end, lol. mouth looks good. Is this stock or did you have to tweak the rig?

Can you explain how you're able to get your shoulders and body moving there on your video thumbnail? I've got face and head tracking working but can't get the body to move at all.

This is amazing! Also, what hardware are you using for your Face Capture? I'm using an IPAD Pro and it works but you have a much higher level of detail in your facial movements then I'm getting.

@@_jeffrey_williams For these shots it will either have been 1 spatial and 8 temporal samples or 16 temporal samples. Nothing major. This all rendered pretty quickly

Foe the body mocap I used rokoko, with the Smartsuit Pro II, and a little cleanup of the shoulders and hands afterwards, and for the face mocap I just used metahuman animator!

@@samgielenSince you are more experienced, I just wanted to ask. For facial mocap, do you think metahuman animator is the best thing out there (keeping cost effectivity in mind) or are there any other softwares worth the upgrade? Also is rokoko headrig (costing $300) worth the purchase?

@@thebridge6701 I’ve only ever used Metahuman Animator, but it’s most definitely the best free to use tool out there. When it comes to the rokoko headrig though… I have it, but the position of the phone on the rig is too close. You lose depth data for metahuman animator use. So you get lesser quality. I’m not sure if I would buy it again.

While I could certainly do a tutorial on metahumans (because this is one and not a custom character) this workflow is not realtime and is not live. This is processed metahuman data!
