yes! one-time pricing! The features if added to Sorted3 would make it unbeatable! 1. Location-based notifications 2. When an item is tagged, moved to a folder, or given a date and time... logically it should be taken out of the inbox and put in a folder, tagged, or scheduled to that day... it shouldn't show up in the inbox. 3. Ability to add folders to the left side of the panel .. this would allow quick access to folders and the tasks in them. I honestly think.. these three features would make sorted3 a very good app!

Really interesting - been a Things 3 user for a while and it’s near perfect for my task management. My biggest bug-bear - having repeating tasks that always happen in an evening appear automatically in the day view and having to manually move them down each day. Might try this out as it seems to borrow heavily from the look/feel of Things 3. Thanks Francesco!

Fantastic review! I love Sorted 3 far more than any other scheduling app, mainly because a couple things in my daily schedules often move around and this app makes this incredibly easy. Nothing else does that, and for me, this is a lifesaver!

I love both. I've been using a shortcut to select Things 3 tasks that I want to timeblock and then auto-import them into today in Sorted. It's clunky, but works well enough for the subset that I want to timeblock. Within the next month, Things 3 will add new Shortcuts support for reading tasks, which will greatly simplify this process, allowing me to tag each Things 3 task that I want to timeblock, and automatically pull them into Sorted on the appropriate day, without having to manually select them and then go through the Share menu. Really looking forward to this.

Just switched to things after being a long time sorted user. I actually prefer sorted but it’s so damn buggy and never syncs properly. Had to give up some features, but at least things works lol

Long time viewer and designer -- although I never comment. The new logo is great, and the blue is elegant. The KZbin cover, and the overall grafism, just doesn't keep with the elegance of logo. In my opinion, Tana inc's site / visual Id should be a good reference.

Can you do a review on Marvin? I’ve just signed up to that and trialling 3 at the moment: sunsamo, to-do-ist and Marvin. Just have to set them up. And I am setting up Trello as my main tool and still looking for best app for health/medical students for note taking. So lost and overwhelmed

Sorted is really neat, but the lack of quick search like Things 3 is a bit of a deal breaker. Still, it's a very solid app if you are a Hyper Scheduling person.

What do you mean? There is a quick search bar at the top. Was this added in the last few months?
@hugocast

@@Martin-kn1cn In Things 3 for desktop you can just type the name of a tag or project or view and it will take you to it. No need to click into a search bar at all. It’s very handy :) I am sure Sorted 3 works great for some folks, but I prefer Things.

Sorted has a horrible syncing issues. I really wanted to daily it but unfortunately can’t trust it. It has been an ongoing issues for a year now. Stick to things 3 if you can.

Locking app with a password or face id is really important for me. Things3 doesn’t have that option.

Yeah it's a pretty nice app, but the watch syncing is horrendous, I literally have to manually sync the watch and app 90% of the time which makes it unusable for me. It's not that hard to trigger a sync every time you edit a task, as well as every time you open the app. Spoke with the support team and they basically said there's nothing that can be done to fix it (which I know is BS, as I gave them a simple solution that would be easy to implement into their current sync solution.)
