I believe the point of having the kids sort it out is so they can alert her to what might be considered inappropriate by parents, and sorting them out means that no child will put that inappropriate sticker some place it definitely shouldn’t be (a school binder, at home, etc)

When i was a kid i got a death note backpack from my aunt and i loved it and when i brought it to school one of the kids that bothered me a lot said it was inappropriate and was shocked that i liked the show and i remember them saying it had sex. But it literally wasnt even inappropriate, at least not in that way. Idk if itd be inappropriate by your standards, since it does focus mainly on murder, but ryuk (the person on the sticker) is just a god of death. He doesnt even murder really, though i would understand sorting it out cause i could see some of the parents complaining its demonic or encouraging violence or something

There are only an handful of sexual suggesting scenes. Like when Misa wears lingerie but what’s anime without any sexual reference? But only a handful scenes over nearly 40 episodes. So it’s not really sexual. And most of the suggestive ones aren’t even THAT suggestive. I understand how it could be morally or due to violence, inappropriate.
