The scene where Beta and Alexia walk down the stairs might have been so unnecessarily long for the implication of Cid carrying piano down the same stairs Also, afaik the black feather landed on notes Si and Do, kinda like his name is romanized (Shido)

I love the idea that he can't even follow what's going on in her life, so he gave her this power just so that he could be involved without having to actually figure any of it out. She had that awesome kickass moment of stabbing her fiance, so she must be the one to root for. Good luck, with whatever

Is it so hard to imagine Cid using the slime to carry the piano and bags of feathers till he found the perfect room? He is perfectly capable of playing the piano for hours just to have his perfect moment.

6:01 I love that Epsilon is the only one of the Seven Shadows who Cid ever compliments on her figure. 9:25 I love the idea that Cid stole a piano, carried it down into the sewers, picked the most epic spot he could find, started playing Moonlight Sonata and then waited for someone to show up so they could marvel at how awesome he looks. Everything Beta does in this episode is great.

I think he's more complimenting the tactic of using slime to do what she's doing. Its genuinely technically impressive how much effort it takes to pull it off. I dont remember if this was from the book or manga or something.

Well, Epsilon is also the only one who is working hard to fake her figure, and Cid is the type who likes to compliment people who work hard towards their goal.

Yeah, there are only 9 girls who have been given power by him directly, Rosa included. The other are the 7 Shadows, and another girl I believe hasn't been shown yet.

So Cid only played the piano for Beta and epsilon to help them sleep and to relax when they were younger. Epsilon would go on to learn it better for her persona.

My favourite episode! The moonlight sonata scene was perfectly done! And edgy roseis a sight to behold. The only thing: Part of me kinda wishes the episode would have ended with the end of the rose slaughter scene and we would have kept the rose-alexia stuff for next episode, that would have been a much better end to an episode.

On a relatively serious note, this is one of my top 3 very most loved episodes of Eminence. I started being obsessed with Moonlight Sonata when I was about 8, 9 years old. Besides that albeit af movement part, I loved how macabre and melancholic most of it sounded. I read all of Eminence in Shadow as soon as I'd heard the anime was happening, and this was a scene I most intensely looked forward to.
