I agree with your comment about having a favorite singer. I am a 60 year old man from Hawaii, USA, and there have been many musical artists that I've really enjoyed over the years. But until I first stumbled upon Dimash, I never would have characterized any of them as an absolute best. His performances are a magical blend of vast technical skil and an almost unbelievable range. What makes it overwhelming is that he has an emotional awareness that goes far beyond what you would believe possible given his young age, and with it, he immerses himself in the performance to the point that he seemingly becomes the song. That creates a stage presence that is beautiful to behold. At times, I find myself transfixed, and I have to remind myself to breathe. No other singer, in all my days, has had that affect on me. Oddly, the one that comes closest is Angelina Jordan.....another very young, unique voice. She and Dimash have much in common. Beyond their superlative and unique voices, I find myself strongly attracted to them as people. Each is possessed of a great spirit." As for Dimash, how could you not love that his vocal gift comes from such a humble and generous soul?

This is Dimash’s signature song which most people know him for. A tragic song: Why do I live, why do I die. He sings it with so much emotion and passion and delivers each note in a way no one else can. In my personal opinion the pop covers of other peoples songs like Titanic and Hello are good, but he really excels at the classical songs. Next you should check out Love is Like a Dream, Your Love, Olympico on Igor Krutoy’s channel and then Adagio from the Chinese Singer 2017. All are great. Enjoy the journey. It’s Dimash’s world and we are all just living in it.

I hope you will see Dimash in India someday. He's not very well known in India, like he is in Asia, Russia, Latin America, and getting better known in the USA. As for a cover song that you will probably know, I think the best choices would be Dimash's versions of "Show Must Go On" from Queen or "Hello" from Lionel Richie. "My Heart Will Go On" is fine, but he wasn't allowed to "make it his own" very much because the occasion was the 25-year anniversary of "Titanic" and he was invited to do a tribute to the song. You probably know this by now. Dimash started his musical training when he was just five. Last Summer he got his Masters and is working on a Doctoriat now. He has said he would also like to teach singing sometime in the future. I hope it’s a long time from now. You guys are cute as can be. His concerts are on You Tube. There are several. He was trained in classical & contemporary music, and is well known for his exceptional widest vocal range. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a public listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the good content and message of its music. The fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives. Death creates in us a feelings of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. God of Music, that's what i said when i listened to dimash first place, i myself is passionate about singing, and listened to a lot of artists around the Globe but Dimash, he is almost perfect, in every way he can sing everything with same perfection, seriously i have never been fan of anyone but dimash I think i am his fan

The singing world of Dimash is like no other. You have seen 3 of his videos so far and there are over 100 more! All of them amazing in their own ways. different genres, styles etc... It's going to be an amazing journey for the 3 of you. If Dimash wasn't amazing enough you have also discovered Diana Ankudinova. A truly incredible voice and person. You will be amazed by her songs too! I would recommend Yodel time (12 years old), Human (14), Rechenka (15) (an old Russian folk song), Vibes (upbeat and fun), Havana (another upbeat and fun from 2Jun 2020) or Take on Me by A-ha and of course Wicked Game (Chris Isaak cover) There are many more after that to explore and be amazed by. In order to help you further your International musical experience I have a few more artists you may want to check out. The first is Angelina Jordan, the "Barefoot Princess". She is currently 15. She is from Norway currently living in California. Her style is based on old style jazz. The first song I would recommend is I put a spell on you (black and white version) She is 9 years old singing this song, and totally amazing! From there try "All I Ask" an Adele cover. It was done recently at age 15. I think you will be hooked on her too! Then there is Morissette Amon from the Philippines. She is called the Phoenix. The first song I would recommend is called Akin ka Na Lang. It's an original of hers and really showcases her voice and talent. I like the "Wish bus 107.5" version best myself. Then try "Never Enough" from the show The Greatest Showman. You could also check out Rise Up, Secret Love Song, Sky Scraper (Demi Lovato cover), or Stone Cold. All of them are amazing! Outside of all 4 of these artists having amazing voices you will notice that they all put heart and Soul into their songs. We are all fortunate to be able to listen to them all, and get to feel and experience that! VERY SPECIAL!

I prefer Dimash' S.O.S performance in Singer 2017. For me, the athmosphere was greater than this. Sorry, but still, It's a good reaction. Thank you.
