Regardless how reckless you may classify the Ghanaian government, it’s hardly unlikely the government would consciously wreck entire stretch of well-built properties without years of warning, compensations to those who are legally due. This excise has been long overdue, way back President Kufour time, compensation was paid to all those with land titles. If you noticed carefully, properties along the stretch were not uniformly lined up, this is because some of the occupant unlawfully acquired the land, regrettably those properties were exempt the compensation and they all knew it way back, some even took the case to court and loss. Check and seek basic facts before you wrongly indict a regime of wrong doing. Remember, it easy to propagate falsehood news these days, aid of social media.
