ha....my thoughts exactly: a pressed on clamp?.....get out'a here! Put a simple screw on clamp and you're done. Those douchebags over at VW, making things more complicated than they need to be.....ppffff... But hey, 26€ for that assembly.....quite steep for me brother. I'd buy a 10-12€ assembly from ebay, from China, and I't would be equaly fine. OR I'd get a new boot from a local accesory shop, for....what????.....6? 10 euros???, replace that old worn out, and fix the knob with heatshrink tube. Of course that requires another 3 € for the heatshrink tube, and to have a heat gun or a blow torch. But hey, you get to do it the way YOU like it.....😂👍👍👍 I made a couple of vids on it.
