I have been leveling my Sapphire for 40 years with the arm and cartridge mounted on the table. Yes, it is difficult to do it this way but it gives you the best balance.

You can mount with tonearm/cartridge on the turntable. Just total weight needs to be correct. 2lb's 15oz total weight in tonearm well in order to balance.

And the reason I mount the arm and then balance is that it will be a more accurate balance.

Thanks for the video. I have a Series III Sapphire I bought a few years ago. Luckily mine had the platter locked up when I got it. I can't wait to see the other videos.
