Ultra Real-World Testing+! Have the Same Stove but NOT Those Conditions! I leave the 4-plex pot stand on the stove, no need to remove it, Fold & Roll into cotton camp-cloth, fits into TI Cup-Pot with Extra room for lighters & condiments, works anywhere & for everything I need it for. -Thanks for doing this test so we don't have to-

@CaptainCamp4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for following the channel, yours is cool as well 😎 my conclusion: I was very impressed it worked in the storm (7 Bft wind force), although I don't have a lot of other gas stoves for comparison. There are other sources on the internet/youtube who did comparisons in milder conditions and ranked the WindMaster #1. It's not the cheapest (~65 euro or dollar). I would say: once you know camping is 'your thing', the WindMaster should be on your list 😎 I went for the cheap Campingaz stove 5 years ago and it has always been a hassle in slight wind and it only works with specific Campingaz canisters (I would not recommend this brand). Another stove, the BRS 3000t, seems to be a popular budget ultralight stove but doesn't perform in wind. In slight wind you'll want some sort of (improvised) windscreen anyway, for efficiency. I would put on a newbie list: - BRS 3000t if you're on a tight budget. - Soto WindMaster if you want a good reliable stove for years to use.

Use it for a couple of weeks on your kitchen stove before trusting it in the outback. I had two fail after a coupe of dozen uses (Testing in my kitchen). Both valves stuck and would barely simmer when wide open or not light at all. Piezo on the 2nd stove (the replacement) took 5-7 tries to light AFTER gas was spewing out. I have other stoves that worked flawlessly on the same canisters. When it worked it was pure bliss. Quiet, steady etc. Sea level, Coleman canisters, 68 degrees, April 2021, brand new stoves. Returned them until manufacturing improves.
