Thanks so much, Val. I kept hitting the wrong strings over and over again. For such a short and simple tune this took far too many takes.

The Campanella sections in that sound wonderful. I do love many of the Playford tunes.

Thanks so much, Andrew! I'm glad you like it. I absolutely love this cheap laminate uke. The red Seaguar makes it chimey, really perfect for campanella playing.

I apologise for not commenting earlier. I was doing some housework and mucking around with the rest on the Seasons. I wanted to listen to this properly and now I am here! (listening.....) This is so lovely, Sabine. You make it look so easy and I know it ISN'T. I l adore this. I need and I will check out more of the music from that period. I love everything I have heard so far. They sound great on the uke! Thanks for this sweet little tune.

Thanks so much, Joo! I thought you'd like this, as you've commented on other Playford tunes. I agree that there's so much fantastic music from this period. These short dance tunes have been an amazing resource, and they have been very helpful in getting me to play from standard notation. Some cry out campanella, others lead to chord melody.
