Which Hal was weak about till Air Poker, he was forcing himself to lose his memory for years, but for the first time he didn't allow it. That's how he became "perfect" by his definition. Hannibal doesn't have anything internal bothering him, he knows what he is and what he wants. I can also explain what i mean "after that" but gotta reread few arcs.

@@bell_820 He was well aware of his memory loss also the part that he himself was the one doing that. He did not tolerate mistakes so he eliminated the memories of them. He is quite aware of this and sometimes he knows when it happens. In fact it is self management that he was lacking that he eliminates when he becomes perfect as he finally stops himself from locking his own memories.

I want people to consider the situation in which such battle could take place. In a preplanned situation Hannibal would win. He would have the whole situation prepared to land in his favor. Even if he would acknowledge Kiruma as more intelligent than Hannibal, he would need to plan the entire outcome in a grander scale much like BAKU. However in a first encounter with no knowledge of each other, kiruma would win. He’s is the faster learner with natural talent in his perfect mode.
