Like Dibz said, in real life you can, to a degree, copy this, but I believe they used a prop arm there, which allowed it to be like Anime Dazai. Directly after his arm wiggling, we can see him quick put his arm behind his back (presumably putting away the fake arm somehow) and withdrawing his normal arm. Also, if you pay close attention to the hand/ fingers at that part, you’ll notice how unnatural they are.

This is the best stage play for an anime I’ve ever seen. The actors bringing all of the characters we love to life. My favorite part of this part has to be when Dazai decides to play with unconscious Chuuya cause he’s bored. 🎶Nurururu Chuuya is my personal shepherd dog avvvvooo🎶 Ah now I’m bored. What to do heheh I’ve got an idea something that will make you all laugh. Tuck your legs inward, put one hand here the other there. “There is no second chance for you!” Hahahahaha!!! There is a second chance!!!. It’s my victory!!! Everyone gets an excuse to mess around with Chuuya. 😂

@@mietowecygarety from what i see, i think that unspoken trust started when they were forced to work together at 15 the two were forced into a world of violence at an early age (not necessarily 15, who knows.. might be even younger) we weren’t given any hint about Dazai’s life before becoming Mori’s witness in succeeding the Port Mafia boss. then there’s Chuuya who couldn’t remember anything before that black explosion. Chuuya was in the middle of an existential crisis and Dazai just wanted to die as soon as possible bec he sees no worth in living- i seriously felt those too, Chuuya & Dazai 😂 For me, the arcade scene was somehow special for them because they get to act like their age. 🤣 Mori even noticed something between the two after meeting Chuuya for the first time. “Be quiet, both of you. You just met for a day and now you’re such good friends~” I bet it was the first time Mori saw Dazai being that talkative and he just sat there watching them bicker like a proud parent Lol 😆 Chuuya’s so gullible to Dazai even at 22 😂 I think Chuuya kinda cares for the suicidal maniac- i can’t say if it’s bec he’s kinda like his life line or because he’s a valuable friend. 🤣 i really didn’t expect him to be worried when they fought against Lovecraft. btw English isn’t also my native language but I gave up deepening my native language for English, I still speak it by default but i always type in English 😂😂😂😂 and im passively learning Japanese 🤣
