Soul Blazer Speedrun (Any%) -

Soul Blazer SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from gaining character control to start of Deathtolls's death animation.
Solid improvement thanks to overall cleaner movement & no unintentional deaths. Used the Ice Armor safety route (costs about 2-2.5 minutes in return for a much safer Light Shrine, Southerta, and Leo's Basement) and had some costly mistakes on Poseidon & Demon Bird. Still enjoying keeping this as a pretty casual speedgame that I just do a few runs of every year (without much grinding or practice), but maybe some day I'll feel motivated to take it more seriously and go for sub-1:40.

This was my favorite game on SNES and here I didn't think that anyone knew about it! It is a hidden gem, just like you said puwexil! This along with Illusion of Gaia were my favorite Quintet games, and congrats on your new PB!

Soul Blazer has always been my favorite Quintet game and one of my favorite SNES games. Love seeing this just for that.
