5/4 is such a difficult time to play in if the original tune is 3/4 or 4/4. You always have to think about adding one beat or subtracting one beat. LOL

No sorry, I'm not liking this 5/4 vibe, it loses too much in translation. It sounds a bit too 'loungy' for my tastes. Please revert to the original time signature-far better.

Mr. Cub Fan 415 Agreed and it was written in 5/4 and works in 5/4. Just like the original theme to Mission: Impossible by Lalo Schifrin, again written in 5/4, it would struggle in anything else. I'm up for any new take on great tunes but for me, you can't beat the originals. A bit like giving the Mona Lisa a nose job; you know it's the Mona Lisa, but she wouldn't look the same. Good luck, but in this case, it's not for me.
