What a legend!, Soul Brothers and Matebeleland,🇿🇼, have an umbilical connection that can only be understood by those that grew up in that 80s era..these guys had a cultic following that lives on to this day! …. If it had been the $US dollar🇺🇸 season back then, they would have definitely collected a well deserved respectable fortune for the amazing music they gave us, 🕺🏿🎶

His collection includes vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, and more. Additionally, he has preserved their wardrobe, often purchasing shirts featured on album covers. The music of The Soul Brothers has been a significant influence in our lives; my father raised us on their songs. Soul Brothers are an epitome of inspiration of generations especially in our region, their music impacted on communities in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho and Zambia and other countries. The music is still fresh and appealing to many generations. They deserve real honor other than rhetoric. Long live Moses Ngwenya, and to late David Masondo and other fallen heroes, May Their Souls Continue to Rest in Eternal Peace!

Thing about Soul brothers and Zimbabwe, in fact its not Zimbabwe but Mathebeleland. Its about a people. Thats all we have in Bulawayo. Highlanders, Soul brothers and City Council. Soul brothers represent our people in SA because in Zimbabwe we are not wanted. They attempted an ethnic cleansing on us. The way we rejoice enjoy and own Soul brothers is high. Even our enemies fell in love with Soul brothers because of us. They learnt of Soul brother from us. Singabantwana benhlabathi. And futhi sasingabatshayi kahle emashebeen because of lomculo. Hehehe Singogandaganda thina. Uqali inyoka isemgodini hohoho.

@@Jamie-bv2wv Very very true. The day the power matrix shifts shall we go back to the way Mzilikazi lived? I think we need to save the country for posterity. Or even better part ways seeing we can't live together in peace. The lives of the unborn are at stake. May sound like we are joking around. This is the conversation that the country can't ignore. The hatred is eternal if not solved amicably.

The Soul Brothers were the soundtrack of my life through my parents and my Aunts and Uncles. In Zim even their fashion lives on. My Great Uncle still wears the colourful rayon shirts and smart shoes. They filled stadiums all over Zim and I know in Zambia and Botswana as well. Whenever Highlanders Football team won everyone in Bulawayo would be celebrating to their music. The record bars in town would be blaring their music most of the time. Thank you King for curating this for us. I can’t wait to share with my parents.

Long live Mbhaqanga! We are nurturing the legacy,if you have never stood in front of a real Hammond B3 series organ and not sample one of Dr Black Moses Ngwenya's organ riffs then you must have missed the opportunity! I love all his albums dating back from the days of Liyanka lami to M1 the sound remains a signature in Mbhaqanga genre. I remember back in 2018 when I released my first Mbhaqanga album titled Golden Fingers the journey of music Track no.8 is a song titled "Home" it is identical to the way Dr Black Moses plays his organ riffs,I recorded a full instrumental album and the elders loved it to the point that all my CDs where sold out, unfortunately at that time I was new into this music business I just sold hard copies without even taking the album to radio stations locally.
