Two completely different styles. Stan was a ribald troubadour and sometimes balladeer while Garnet is a soulful folk traditionalist. I relax when I listen to that mellow voice of his accompanied by beautiful acoustic arrangements that one can be carried away to far off mountains with as well as go for a quiet ride in the country with. Stan while extremely talented, as someone I imagine would be good listening to while jibing & tacking through the buoys of a windy day in Hampton Bay in a 30' Atlantic racer.
