I believe we should trust God for our spouses. We should also have discernment and see fruit. A fake will show red flags. We must be prayerful. We must not turn away and overlook behaviors that are against God’s. Will . Trust God be patient and know God will give you his best for you. Work on yourself while waiting and continue to serve God no matter what that looks like for you. God will cause your future spouses to cross our paths. God will do it if you know it’s his will for you. Remember we are all free will if one relationship isn’t for you don’t give up. Trust God and keep your peace.

Thank you for sharing your tesitmony. I know God led me to you. I like to call the couples that God has ordained to be together, "Match Made In Heaven." Soulmates is what the world calls it. We do have to set apart what the world says as to what God says in His word. I have had quite a few soulmates, because I was broken and confused about relationships of any kind including finding my match made in Heaven. I am thankful to God that you are sharing your testimony. Your husbands story I can relate to. Years ago when my husband and I separated and he moved in with his mistress at the time. I was in so much despair and hopelessness. I gave my life to Christ while watching an episode on a Christian network. The very next day I felt different. I felt like the sadness and darkness was lifted. All I could think of is God He was on my mind at that very moment. In my past I gave my life to Christ when I was 15 yrs. old. I wasn't really knowledgeable about what I was doing. My grandmother wanted it for me. So I carried on as usual. She would talk about the Lord, but I was not thinking about it anymore. My friends at the time were not people who were serving God. My ex-husband at the time we married when I was 18 and he was 21. We were young and I was pregnant also. All the elders in our families told us to get married. So we did. We were best friends at least at that time. So it seemed like that is all we were. Which was not a bad thing, but I think we both knew deep down that we only married because everyone said we should. Fast forward, After I woke up with joy it seemed after I fully met Jesus Christ and began a beautiful relationship. I woke up with Him on my mind and went to bed with Him on my mind. I finally let go. I didn't quite understand my feelings about this but I had a knowing in my heart that my husband at the time was with who he was supposed to be with. That night I lifted my hands to God and I said I do not want to get married again unless it is who you want me to be with. I want our marriage to glorify you and be used for your purpose. I also said that God I will believe he is the one if only you would show me. I told my family and friends that God himself would have to tell me himself for me to get married again, lol. As the years went by I began to have dreams about a man. I noticed I would dream about him pretty often. Finally I asked God what is going on? who is this man? I did not know a man like that at all in my life at that time. The dreams were very vivid. Moving forward again, the dreams slowly faded away after I started dating and was not following God's rules anymore. I fell into temptation and moved further from God and had friendships and lovers that were not God-sends.I continued to get in relationships according to the world"s guidelines. Which basically sinful relationship, unmarital sex and drugs and drinking. I realize God was still with me and He was showing me things in my dreams. He hadn't turned His back on me I had turned away from him. I'm so glad I was led to hear your testimony. I'm grateful finding someone who was led to you and they saw you in their dreams. Now I know I am not tripping, lol. I used to tell people about them and they didn't have a clue and didn't understand what I was going through. So I began to keep it to myself. Now that I have came back to Christ. It's like said to me, now stay with me and now you are ready to follow me all the way this time and stop wasting time with men who you also know is not for you. So now I am writing a book about my life in the past and the wisdom that I have now and everything makes since. it about them now and now I know who he is our physical paths haven't happened yet. I know this is so long. I just want to say praise God for you and the 2 of you are being used of God to share your testimony. I know God led me to your channel. I now know who this person is that I have been dreaming about and I know in time our paths will cross when God says it is time. I'm glad you said that the both of you are still growing God doesn't wait until we are perfect. Thank you for saying that. God does order our steps. Thank you and God bless you.

Thank you so much! I really think a lot of people need to hear this. It really did help me a lot too. God is honestly so beautiful and amazing. Just because we are alone right now doesn't mean we will always be alone. Actually I think we need to take out the word alone from our life because we are actually never alone... God is always with you. And our relationship with God is what's more important. And someday at the right time you will meet the right person. Until then let's serve God and when we do meet the right person... server God together. I haven't met the right person for me yet but I know I will in God's perfect timing. And if not I will still always work on serving God.

What if his name appears everywhere? My coworker gave me a book on God and Jesus and divine alignment and the first short story in the book had the two main characters named my name and his name!! And my coworker didn’t know she didn’t even read the book yet. Then the new guy at work had his name. Amongst many many other situations where his name would appear and it’s not a very common name. So I prayed on it asking God if this is truly His way of showing how this man is my future husband to please send me a bouquet of roses as confirmation.. The next day at work my coworker bought me roses and she gave them to me to take home..... I feel within my soul this man, Kevin, is my husband but right now he’s battling addiction and some personal problems. Can you please pray for his healing and that if it’s true Kevin and I can be in a solid relationship as soon as it’s possible 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m trying to hold out for him because I really do believe.

I've gone through that too, but people also cautioned me about this because there are people who do witchcraft that makes the same effect. It's hard to decipher but take into account your family's hesitancy or peace about the guy. Our family knows us better than anyone and wants nothing better than the best...God reveals His opinion through family a lot of times...especially when you have a family of believers.

That sounds like God but your response thus far will leave you feeling let down in the future. If you are focusing on these details with the intent for God to bring healing to this man SO THAT you can be in a relationship as soon as possible, then you will be disappointed when that doesn't happen. God brings healing to bring glory to himself and to show his love to his children; if he is confirming (and continues to confirm) that this man is the husband he has for you, you don't make it happen. I repeat: you don't make it happen, God does. And it will be evident that it is God's doing because all the things happening you couldn't possibly make happen. But your response needs to be is not, 'Yes God, make this happen so I can be in a relationship with this man', but your response needs to be, 'God, you are so amazing, you are so worthy of praise, you are worthy of every adoration I can give you. If this is the man you want me to marry, thank you Lord that it will be done by your hand; if this man is not the man you want me to marry, thank you Lord that my identity is in Christ Jesus and so is my joy--you are faithful and you go before me.' It took me a couple of years to learn not to base my existence around what I think the Lord is trying to show me, but instead, actually base my existence around him and let that interpret what he shows me.

Alexandra Freed thanks for your comment. I’m so sorry I’m just seeing it. My suggestion to you is to stay at God’s feet regarding the path he has for you. His guidance is what you need, not so much ‘signs’. Signs can get us in trouble mainly because satan can use signs and signs can be happenstance and coincidence. We don’t ever want to make an important decision like who we marry off of signs alone. Don’t ignore the signs! But seek God despite emotions, signs and your own desires. Maybe praying him through this rough season and being a true friend to him. I pray Kevin is healed and delivered from addiction in the name of Jesus.

Although “soulmates” is never mentioned in the Bible, as children of God who have deep relationships with him, we can testify that there is no doubt of his Sovereignty in our lives. He does nothing by happenstance and has mapped out our lives whether we want to surrender to it or not. Our job is to find out from Him His PERFECT will for our lives.
