I've loved this CD for so many years, I need to find my copy and start listening to it again!

I remember watching Jennifer in Asheville NC and closing the bar with the band and she and I had a drink together after the set was over, she seemed so down to earth.

I remember these two begging me to book them at The Scrap Bar in Atlanta back in '92~93. I booked them even though we were a heavy metal/punk rock bar. After that first gig in ATL, the rest is history. My buddy Scott Patton now plays guitar for Sugarland . 🤠

That line...."Cause I'm jump back and kiss myself R-E-D-H-O-T for you".....just....yes. That's too cool for school!

This band was insanely good. I had a friend who went to UGA and I used to go visit her and see this band a bunch. I think I saw them 10 times at least. When they played in Atlanta at the Cotton Club once, I sneaked in a flask of Jim Beam and after the show she and I had a few nips and a brief conversation. She was such a nice person and Cory was just as kind. I really hate it that she did him wrong the way she did.

Anyone know what Corey's doing these days? His guitar is definitely band worthy.

My first(and last ever)time seeing Sugarland live was at a Coors/Navy Fed/Mattress Firm/We Change our Sponsor Name Every 6 Months Amphitheater concert in San Diego around 2005. (Kenny Chesney was the headliner along with Gretchen Wilson and Pat Green......Chesney was off key/Gretchen ROCKED the house and stole the show) Nettles is to singing as Picasso is to art. She's taken what can be a beautiful thing to something unrecognizable. Her vocals remind me of when I was kid; and I heard the cries of a neighborhood cat as it was being ripped apart by a Coyote in our back yard. For those of you who adore this caterwauling over-singer; her new CD: "Live Cat in a Blender" should be released soon.

Why wouldn't she be down to earth? Most humans have feet planted down to earth

kris branch I think she meant humble and easy to approach, not like many once they make millions and become famous. She’s is still a kind, caring and giving human being , including building hospital operating rooms in Guatemala 🇬🇹 for special childrens hospitals and building homes for homeless not to mention other charities. Unlike many she doesn’t use her giving as away to promote herself either like so many do and there’s so much more she does that she doesn’t share at all. She’s a true role model for all young people, college educated w/double major (Anthropology and Spanish) and studied aboard plus speaks many languages.
