this was always the final encore song of their shows. they were one of the best live music experiences i've ever had the good fortune to experience. mostly at eddie's attic, but they also played free gigs in random places sometimes. at the same time in history, john mayer was playing guitar for michelle malone, and tegan and sara were regular openers for melissa ferrick. all of this, at eddie's attic. what a lucky time in history for me to have lived in decatur. (j.n. is the sweetest ever!)
