This video sure brought back memories. Soul of Darkness was one of my favorite mobile games. While I'm not familiar with the DSi port, I noticed quite a lot of differences between it and the Java version. Also, if I recall correctly, this game had a rerelease that added more levels and refined the combat system, but it seems the DSi port was based on the first "incomplete" release. Interesting stuff.

Protip for the Earth Dragon whenever he moves sides use the ice spear the opposite sides he's going to deal massive damage while he's moving, especially when fully upgraded

What a coincidence, I downloaded Gameloft classics from the app store a couple of weeks ago specifically for this game, I remember playing the free trial over 100 times back in the day, always wanted to try the DSi version to see if there were any major changes, doesn't seem to be the case.

This game was an amazing thing and way ahead of its time even though it was a Java game It really has high potential of being an amazing revamled game for a console or an anime adaptation What i'd give to get this done in a Castlevania type anime adaptation

Any idea if the music at ritter stage (12:00) is just an 8bit version of real orchestral composition? If anyone know, please tell me which It sounds epic enough not to be an all time classic music track in my opinion. I already know the game has some parts of mozart's reqviem but I can't find that particular one at the ritter stage...
