Since the subtitles said his name wrong; the master of Grimoire Heart, Master Hades, was formerly the 2nd master of Fairy Tail, Master Precht (sounds like Prekt).

in case you missed it. :) Hades/Purehito was the 2nd master of fairy tail. So Mavis, Purehito then Makarov. Freed and Bickslow left with Gildarts. The other magic council person we saw a few episodes back, Lahar, is a dude. Haha. He arrested Jellal in the Oracion Seis arc.

Yes, Purehito/Hades was that old 40 years ago. His age is not certain, but it's most likely around 130 years old. The guy's so old he has to go to an archeologist instead of a doctor, he's basically a walking mummy, and still looks the same he did for the last 40 years, if that's not aging well I don't know what is.
