That scene where Joe is remembering all the little, beautiful moments in life is one of the few times I cried while watching a movie. Incredible stuff.
@videohistory7222 жыл бұрын
Neat little thing you could miss: When Joe shows 22 his memories, there's one where he's sitting in a diner with a piece of pie, looking dejected, making you think it's a sad memory. But when Joe's at the piano and we see that montage of memories, we see the diner scene again, and we find out it was actually a happy memory, despite not starting out ao great. It's like the hockey memory in Inside Out. It started off sad, but because of her friends and the team, it turned happy.

As someone who has a musical background, specifically piano, and many mental health issues including whether life was worth it...this movie MATTERED when it came out. It's a beautiful film visually as well!

The music won the Oscar for Best Original Score. The jazz sections were composed by the icon himself, Grammy-winner Jon Batiste. The more ethereal sections were composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (who composed the music for Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and The Social Network). Two VERY different musical styles that somehow compliment each other beautifully for this movie. ❤️❤️❤️

This film was definitely made for an older audience. I think it’s a great film for high school teens trying to figure out what they want after school. There’s so much pressure to become something when life is simply about living and enjoying every moment that you can. I watched this movie as a 19 year old with my 6 and 11 year old cousin and they didn’t enjoy it as much as I did. 💀

Makes sense since most of the Pixar audience nowadays is children with Turning Red and Luca being memed but honestly I kind of like that Soul is underrated because it’s like a hidden gem. Soul is definitely one of the best things Pixar has ever made.

Terri is voiced by Rachel House(New Zealand actress. She played Moana's grandmother and was the second in command to Tivan in "Thor:Ragnarok"). Lol, the self absorbed joke."We really should stop sending people though that pavilion..." The earlier scene of him thinking his life was meaningless is revealed that it was totally meaningful(him alone in the restaurant was him trying really good food, he enjoyed teaching the kids, etc;)

I already realized the lesson from this movie several years ago and lived a much better life ever since. I've always been annoyed by people obsessing over some sort of singular purpose in life or worse, searching for predetermined purpose because they were too cowardly to forge their own. Life is for living it. ...THAT'S IT. Everything else is a cherry on top. This is also why I take issue with people who shame sensuality. It is such an important thing for humans to truly enjoy life.

This is personally one of my favorite animated films of all time! There’s just something about this one in particular that spoke to me, personally, and I genuinely think it’s a fantastic film. A shame that it didn’t get a full theatrical release here in the US (to be fair, this came out in December 2020, when theaters were still closed and a new wave of COVID was occurring) and the studio’s next films (Luca and Turning Red) were all Disney+ exclusives, which began Pixar's underwhelming run during COVID.

I've seen opinions that claim it seems like Disney is purposefully sidelining Pixar and pushing Disney Studios.
@nicolasbaron45062 жыл бұрын
@@ronweber1402 It was understandable with Soul and a little bit with Luca, but it didn't make absolutely no sense to do it again with Turning Red. Lightyear only made it to theaters because it was part of a popular series, but their return to the big screen was a big disaster. Hopefully thing will be different with their next film, Elemental.

I'am so glad you love this movie, this one immediately become one of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies and it was a shame that very few people saw it because when was about to hit theaters the pandemic started and they delay the launch so much time that in the end they had to put her in their streaming service but this movie is a gem in the desert.

I don't think this movie got the praise it deserved because it was a Disney movie made for adults not kids. Inside Out came first and it was basically the kid's version of this concept. They saw the potential, and then they had to make an artistic thought provoking version of it too.

8:14 -- Keeping in mind when the movie came out, and how long it takes to make a Pixar movie, I'm pretty sure the writers had a certain individual in mind when it came to that soul, especially when Jerry said that he was going to be a handful on Earth.

No worry take your time. As much as you want. I going to ask you personal question. By using honest information and unbiased historical facts. What is your opinion on the deaths? Of Mikhail Gorbachev and Queen Elizabeth. Two of the world's mightiest humans. Both became the respective leaders. For each of their countries Soviet Union and United Kingdom. However the first one dissolved back in the early 1990's. From the year 1991. Whereas for Elizabeth, she is no longer on 🌍. Elizabeth and Gorbachev both died recently. In this year 2022. I asked you common personal question. With historical unbiased facts. You are free to express your honest opinion and thoughts. The 2 respective leaders died in August 30 and September 8. At their respective ages: 91 and 96. They became dead during their 90's. Mikhail is even no longer either. Rest in peace 🕊️ to both of the elderly humans. Top of it leaders as well. For their acknowledgement and leadership.
