Most of these people are now on their 60s or their 70s. Coolest grandpas ever.

Not 70's, 60's and early 60's tops, this is 40 years ago and the soul train dancers were in their teens and early 20's, I know some of them looked older than that but a lot of young people looked older back then, but that's how old they were, so none of them are in their 70's now.

love, love, love this song. It reminds me my parents having house parties. My uncle was in the hospital ,with terminal leukemia. His friends smuggled him out of the hospital brought him to a New years eve party at our home.He didn't know he had days to live everyone else did..I was six or seven, had to go bed,but they played this all night, along with "Living for the weekend "were his favorites. He passed away January 3,1976 he was 23 yrs old. RIP Uncle Sonny.

The music made you feel good, feel such a positive vibe. Please can somebody bring this back to be a thing. Soul Train themed parties or clubs?

Loving the Soul Train uploads. IMO I the old skool dancers were more groovy, funky and cool. Most of their music had a lot more heart too...maybe that's why? So much of today's dancing is too hip, slick and cheaply sexual...it equates to having much less substance...and then like most current music...is just commodity.
